Daily Dose: Laurel – To The Hills (The Jane Doze Remix)

The Jane Doze Remix

Alright, so when we first decided to do today’s Daily Dose we planned on only featuring the remix of Laurel’s “To The Hills.” However, if you’re featuring a remix you’ve got to know the original, right? Well, we listened to the original version and we were equally blown away by it.

The original version of Laurel’s “To The Hills” and the remix by The Jane Doze are so different that it’s really not even fair to compare them. Really, it just depends on if you’re in the mood for the Progressive House remix by The Jane Doze or some Lana del Rey-style melancholy that the original brings.

That’s why, in addition to The Jane Doze remix, we’ve also given you a chance to listen to the original track.

You might recognize the The Jane Doze, we previously featured their remix of Nervo’s “Reason”. The New York duo consisting of Jen Mozenter and Claire Schlissel are on the rise, having already played at Electric Daisy Carnival, one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world. However, Laurel is probably new name for you, although we’re certain she’ll be well known in short order. The Southampton, England native  recently released her EP, To The Hills, which we highly recommend listening to.

Take a listen to the remix and the original version and let us know which one you prefer! Whichever you prefer, all 3 of these ladies are amazingly gorgeous and talented!
