Daily Dose: Jhameel – Feisty

DailyDose

Today’s Daily Dose features up and coming artist Jhameel. Now, it’s pretty much blasphemy to say anyone sounds like Michael Jackson, but listen to the song and it becomes seriously tough to deny that there’s a bit of Michael coming out of this guy.

Known for his androgynous appearance and his distinct voice, Jhameel’s greatest success has come singing the hook to Hoodie Allen’s “No Faith in Brooklyn,” but with a voice like his it’s only a matter of time before reaching new heights of his own.

Also, he has some of the most fantastic dance moves known to man. For a better display of his moves take a look at the music video for his song “Shut Up.”

For today we’ve featured his latest single “Feisty,” which we’ve had an incredibly hard time categorizing. It’s part pop and part hip-hop, but whatever it is, we like it.

What do you think? Is it a crime punishable by death to compare his voice to Michael Jackson? A fan of the song? Let us know in the comments below!
